About Dr. Jorge Rafael Rabaza, Bariatric Surgeon
Greetings, I am Dr. Jorge Rabaza, a General Surgeon and a proud member of the Baptist Health Medical Group. Our group comprises over 180 physicians, each excelling in various specialties and closely aligned with Baptist Health South Florida. My primary focus within this esteemed group is Bariatric Surgery, including revisional procedures.
My educational journey took me through the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine, where I earned my medical degree. Following that, I completed my residency at the University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Hospital. Currently, I hold the position of Clinical Assistant Professor of Surgery at Florida International University's Herbert Wertheim College of Medicine. Additionally, I serve as a Voluntary Instructor of Surgery at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine. My commitment to education and patient care is unwavering, and I am honored to be part of such esteemed institutions.
