Dr. Junaid Khan MD is a cardiothoracic vascular surgeon who regularly performs surgeries at the Alta Bates Summit Cardiovascular Center. With over 18 years of experience in thoracic and cardiothoracic vascular surgery, he is highly skilled and experienced in his field.
Dr. Junaid Khan graduated from UCLA, David Geffen School of Medicine in 1989. Throughout my career, I have completed around 4,000 cardiac surgeries, with a particular focus on heart valve procedure surgeries.
One of my greatest strengths lies in the exceptional team I have assembled. Together, we comprise skilled cardiac anesthesiologists, perfusionists, and nurses who play a crucial role in enabling me to deliver expert care in minimally invasive valve surgeries.
