About Dr. Luis Castro, Heart Surgeon
Greetings! I am Dr. Luis Castro, a cardiac surgeon who completed my medical education at Stanford School of Medicine in 1988. Throughout my career, I have conducted around 5,000 cardiac surgeries, with a specialization in heart valve procedures, accounting for 3,000 of those surgeries. I am currently affiliated with the Dignity Health Sequoia Hospital Heart & Vascular Institute, where I perform surgeries regularly.
