Brachytherapy is a form of radiotherapy that delivers radiation from a source that is inside the body. It is used to treat tumors that are close to the skin’s surface, such as those in the nose, cervix, or ears. Brachytherapy also treats cancers that are close to the spine or pelvis, above the collarbone, or in the middle of the breastbone.
