Bulkamid

Bulkamid is a recently developed treatment option for stress urinary incontinence (SUI), which can cause bladder leaks. It is a minimally invasive procedure that does not involve surgery and is manufactured by Axonics Modulation Technologies.

The device is made of polyester fabric and takes the form of an implantable mesh. It is inserted into the bladder through the urethra to offer support and protection. The implant reinforces the pelvic floor muscles, reducing the likelihood of urine leakage.
