The cochlear implant is an electrical device that helps to hear. It may be a possibility for those who are unable to hear. An auditory implant is also known as a cochlear implant and it is an electronic medical device that can help some people with hearing loss or deafness. The implants work by electrically stimulating the auditory nerve and by doing so, they bypass any parts of the inner ear which may have been damaged or diseased.
