Micra is a small, pacemaker-like device manufactured by Medtronic, used to treat heart rhythm disorders. It is about one-tenth the size of a traditional pacemaker and is implanted directly into the heart without the need for leads or a visible bump under the skin. The device uses sensors to automatically pace the heart as needed and can be monitored and adjusted remotely.
