Remote Patient Monitoring (RPM) is a healthcare practice that involves the use of technology to monitor patients’ health and medical data remotely. It allows healthcare providers to collect and analyze a patient’s vital signs, symptoms, and other health-related information from a distance, often in real-time or near real-time. RPM utilizes various devices, such as wearable sensors, smartphones, and connected medical equipment, to continuously or periodically transmit data to healthcare professionals for assessment and decision-making.
