The Supris Retropubic Sling System is a type of surgical device used to treat stress urinary incontinence (SUI) in women. It is a minimally invasive procedure that involves placing a sling around the urethra to provide support and prevent leakage. The sling is made of synthetic material and is placed through a small incision in the abdomen. The sling is then secured to the pubic bone to provide support and prevent leakage. The procedure is typically done as an outpatient procedure and can be done under local or general anesthesia. The procedure typically takes about an hour and recovery time is usually about two weeks. The Supris Retropubic Sling System is a safe and effective treatment for SUI and has been shown to be successful in up to 90% of cases.
