About Dr. David Moore, Heart Surgeon
Dr. David O. Moore is a cardiac surgeon who graduated from LSU School of Medicine in New Orleans back in 1981. Throughout my career, I have performed approximately 5,250 cardiac surgeries, with a specialization in heart valve procedures, of which I have completed around 1,000. Currently, I primarily operate at Baylor Scott & White The Heart Hospital - Plano.
One of my key strengths lies in my extensive hands-on training and vast experience gained from performing over 5,250 heart surgeries in the past 33 years. I am deeply committed to providing the best care possible to my patients, and I am dedicated to supporting them throughout their surgery and recovery journey.
Since 1989, I have actively served as a cardiovascular surgeon in the Dallas area. Throughout my practice, I have encountered a wide range of cases, including coronary bypass surgery, aortic valve operations, aortic aneurysms, aortic dissections, carotid surgery, and atrial fibrillation ablation procedures. Each of these areas has been a primary focus of my expertise.
